How Bad Do You Want It?

Anything worthwhile is going to take strength and determination on your part!

Whether you need more education, a new fitness routine, a more advanced position at work..it all takes hard work and determination to get you to the next level. It all boils down to this:

How bad do you want it?

You can stay in your comfort zone but after awhile that nagging feeling of wanting more for yourself, eventually becomes harder to deal with than making the actual change.

All it takes is a plan. Decide what it is you want and start taking steps to get there. Start with making a phone call. Do a little research into that thing that you really want! Next, get out your calendar and write down your next steps on the day and time you are going to do it.

For more accountability, make sure you tell someone close to you what you’re working on. This does a couple of things for you. 1. Once you announce it, it makes it real. 2. Once you start telling others about what you’re doing you’ll get questions every so often as to your progress. This is your accountability.

If you really want to make sure you stick to it, ask someone to hold you accountable. Ask your spouse or close friend to call you and check on you weekly or bi-weekly and ask how you’re doing.

Just start! Go for it! It’s harder sometimes to stay where you are than it is to just get out there and do it. You’ll not only work towards accomplishing the goal you set out for . but you will also gain self-confidence knowing that YOU set a goal and stuck to it.
