My favorite resources

I’m updating my resource rolodex and wanted to share it with you for Thursday’s tips in case there were any you hadn’t heard of. Are there any favorites that are not on here? If so, please share!

Dragon Dictation – Voice to text dictation. Can cut/paste, edit, share. Free app for iPhone
HootSuite – Dashboard for social media. Can add five accounts for free. Write one post and send over all media, schedule them for certain days/times. Uses owl.ly link shortener. Has apps for iPhone and iPad as well as web. http://www.hootsuite.com
Tweet Deck--similar to HootSuite. http://www.tweetdeck.com
Zemanta—automatically add photos and links to blog posts. http://www.zemanta.com
Who Unfollowed Me? –tells you who unfollowed you , who’s following you that you’re not following back, inactives, etc. http://www.who.unfollowed.me

Twylah – Turns your Twitter page into a website that can be shared/tracked. Use it when tweeting about topics you want to be known for. Includes all links and comments. Said to increase engagement 40 times more than without. http://www.twylah.com

Tweepi—Twitter management tool with statistics. Provides spreadsheet of activity. www.tweepi.com

Mention – Like Google Alerts, Mention is a media monitoring dashboard that connects to  your social media and tracks  where you’re being talked about

Ease.ly – Make infographics easily. www.ease.ly

Quozio – Turn quotes into graphics. www.quozio.com

Who Needs My Guy (and Gal) – A way for you to recommend your favorite service providers that connects to social media. www.whoneedsmyguy.com

Flipboard – iPad app that turns Twitter page into magazine. Keeps all relevant links and conversations together. Can send tweets from Flipboard page. Now available for iPhone too. http://www.flipboard.com or from the app store.

Bit.ly – shortens long web links to 20 characters. Also tracks link activity by putting in search and add a +. http://www.bitly.com
Owl.ly – same idea and is what HootSuite uses. http://www.ow.ly
Instagram – free app for iPhone that allows you to take any photo and add a filter and transform it into a work of art. Can upload to Facebook, Twitter, and Flickr. Great if you have a picture that needs few words. http://www.instagr.am
Google analytics—Tracks advertising ROI and multimedia, web usage and provides custom reports. Integrates with Ad Sense. Free.  http://www.google.com/analytics/
WiseStamp—custom signature for your emails. Can include “follow” buttons for Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin. www.wisestamp.com

Firepole Markeing – Great marketing resources and blog posts on how to market your small business. http://www.firepolemarketing.com
