Sara Hart Headshot RS 3x4 (1)

How long have you been in business?  20 years

Why did you begin your business?  I was weary of corporate life, so I resigned and started my consulting business, Hartcom. Now I’m focusing on my initiative, Sign of Enough.

What is your mission for your business?  To have as many people as possible hear about Sign of Enough and begin to work with the question “How will I know when I have enough?”  Many of us are overwhelmed with things to do, places to go, things to learn, and people to meet, all in an attempt to grow and maintain a successful business. And this is in addition to family and community obligations that we want to be attending to. Many of us are feeling almost driven out of our homes by the “stuff” we are collecting and trying to store! And in the midst of all this, we may have very little, if any, time for ourselves.  When we get to this point, we may have the sense of “OK!  THAT’S enough!!”  When this happens, we have hit our Sign of Enough, and it’s very important to take some specific action to bring ourselves back into alignment with what’s really most important to us.

If there was one thing you wish you knew before you began your business, what would that be?  Get testimonials every time you work with a client!

What is a guiding principle that you use in your business?  Always to operate with as much integrity as I can, and to say so when I realize I haven’t.

What makes you a thriving woman in business?  I’ve had my consulting business for 20 years, which is somewhat remarkable with the ups and downs in Silicon Valley!

What do you love about being a thriving woman in business?  I love what I do and I get to decide every day what that will be!

What is the next big thing or dream for you in your business?  Design a home study course.
