What is your mission for your business?

I believe that entrepreneurs are the ones who can make the most positive impact on the world. My approach is to keep it simple, strategic and fun. Everybody does better when they’re laughing and breathing vs. holding their breath, feeling uptight or in their head.

What is one super tip that you’d like to share with other women in business?

Perfect doesn’t help anyone. Stop getting ready to get ready. You build confidence by leaning into the fear/excitement and pressing GO. You can learn to ride your excitement. And when you do that, you’re unstoppable!!

What makes you a Thriving Woman in Business?

Happiness isn’t real unless it’s shared. I’ve always dreamed of being in a community of like minded women with big hearts and growing businesses. When women come together and collaborate, it’s so powerful! We are the role models for other generations.

What is one lesson you have learned as a Thriving Woman in Business?

I’ve learned that engagement is everything and that you can have fun with it. Caterina teaches us about inclusion, generosity, and that it’s ok to wear your heart on your sleeve and all over your business.

What have you gained from being a part of the Thriving Women in Business Community?

I feel like I can really be my goofy, vulnerable self. I love how welcoming we are to each other and to other communities too.

How are you or your company engaged in giving/community support?

I’ve helped some of the ladies prepare for their video shoots. I have done and continue to do comedy benefits for good causes/nonprofits, etc. I donate monthly to Girl Up Uganda and several other charities. I speak often in the 12 step world to share my experience, strength, and hope.
