What is your mission for your business?

Heart and Sole Fitness & Wellness exists to empower people to break down their fitness, wellness, and accountability goals so that no barrier hinders individual success.

What is one super tip that you’d like to share with other women in business?

Choose one thing. We can’t achieve everything all at once. By choosing one thing to focus on today, you can count the win.

What makes you a Thriving Woman in Business?

Community and connection. I’ll be the first person to admit I’m not everyone’s cup of tea–but if I’m not your right fit, I’ve got someone else’s service or product to refer you to that can be of greater service than me.

What is one lesson you have learned as a Thriving Woman in Business?

One plus one can equal three. We can plan for one outcome in our business or envision it to look a certain way, but as we learn and grow, and as the world changes, our businesses evolve too. It’s okay to throw out the business plan and change it to what is a better fit for you and your clients.

What have you gained from being a part of the Thriving Women in Business Community?

Support. Love. Accountability. Cheerleaders. Teachers. Mentors. True friends. There is no community in the world like TWIBC–similar, but not the same.

How are you or your company engaged in giving/community support?

Heart and Sole Fitness & Wellness supports Girl Up Uganda Initiative and The Rose Foundation on a monthly basis, as well as regular donations to Samaritan’s Purse.

I personally support my community through volunteer efforts as our local Chamber of Commerce PAC vice chair, a director on our local Kiwanis Club board, serve as our Kiwanis Club’s Key Club Advisor in one of our local schools, am an elder in my church, and hold the position as treasurer and secretary of our community’s ministerial association.
