Thriving Woman Spotlight: Tracie Root
For over a decade, Tracie Root has been serving and supporting women to SET and to GET their goals in life and in business. As the founder of The Gather Community, she took her own goal-getting advice by shifting in 2020 from holding and hosting in-person events in her “brick-and-mortar” space to creating a nationwide community of like-minded women who are growing and thriving together. Tracie serves women in her workshops, group programs, and in The Gather Community to expand their beliefs about what’s possible for them, so they can live their BOLD life!

What is your mission for your business?
To support women to be BOLD in their business (and life) and to support the creation and development of communities to uplift all those around us.
What is one super tip that you’d like to share with other women in business?
Everything we do is a choice. Our priorities, our values, and our boundaries shape our days and our future. What will you choose?

My confidence and my commitment to supporting those around me!
What is one lesson you have learned as a Thriving Women in Business?
Sales is Service, and I have 5 jobs. :) (I know that’s 2 jobs!)
What have you gained from being a part of the Thriving Women in Business Community?
Friends, associates, mentors, inspiration, skills, and an amazing perspective about what’s possible for me, my business, and my clients!
How are you or your company engaged in giving/community support?
We select a charity partner for our 2 main events per year to support. Most recently, in December it was Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Cruz County.
