This fundraising and networking event is a special preview screening of segments of AMAZING PLACE, a video about Baraka Women’s Center in Nairobi. Shot in June 2019, AMAZING PLACE takes you inside the lives of some of the 1000 women who are Center members, living in slum-survival mode.
The Center provides safe haven for them to learn new skills that help transform their lives.
Gritty, surprising, harrowing, and inspiring, AMAZING PLACE is a revelation of the women and a place that few have the privilege to know.
The event brings together a group of WCI supporters worth knowing, with wine and snacks, and the opportunity to stock up on unique fashion accessories hand-crafted by Baraka Women.
