Giving Woman of the Year: Aarti Naik ~ Sakhi for Girls Education

Join us to celebrate the first visit of Aarti Naik of Sakhi for Girls Education to the U.S. Your hosts Citizen Angel, Thriving Women in Business Giving Circle, and A3: Access, Advancement, Autonomy will be presenting Aarti Naik with the Giving Woman of the Year Award for 2018.
You’ll get to meet Aarti in person and hear her inspiring story of educating hundreds of girls in the slums of Mumbai, India. Aarti grew up in the slum where she works and was herself forced to leave school at an early age and go to work for pennies per day. Now she is a widely-recognized changemaker who has won awards from organizations around the world.
We’ll have food and beverages, entertainment, and a silent auction to support Aarti’s continued education of Mumbai’s girls. You’ll also see videos and photos of Aarti’s work, plus hear how she has changed the lives of the U.S. women who support her.

We are currently seeking donations of professional and personal services, and of virtual products, for our silent auction.
