The B Words Book Launch

October 3

Tricia Kagerer’s latest book “The B Words; 13 Words Women Must Navigate for Success” will launch on September 22, 2020!

Navigating the workforce as a woman can feel like making your way through a minefield. Step too far in one direction, and suddenly, you’re considered bossy and overbearing and difficult to work with. Too far in the other, and you lose your power and voice. If you try to stay in the middle, you could still be contributing to generations worth of a stagnant mindset that has hindered women from reaching true equality.
Kagerer explores how obstacles can manifest themselves during various stages of life and creates a map to help
women identify what holds them back and what they can do to propel themselves forward. Rather than preaching
“work-life balance,” Kagerer challenges readers to achieve “self-defined success,” a life intentionally designed your
own way.
“I encourage women to strive for authenticity. It goes back to self-defined success. Creating your life on your own
terms — not what others tell you and not what our society has defined for you,” says Kagerer. “From there you can
set a plan in motion and work toward making small steps to get you where you want to be.”
Whether that means navigating difficult relationships with co-workers, building effective professional networks, or
confronting one’s own limiting beliefs and biases, Kagerer’s advice shows how we can break through these obstacles
and our way to self-defined success. This book fights for true equality in the workforce and calls for bridges
to be built not only between women but between men and women as well, fostering open communication and
understanding that will lead to a brighter future.
