Kale Chips: An Easy and Healthy Snack

When we are busy we tend to reach for the easiest snack to help hold us over until the next meal. Most of the time what we reach for isn’t the healthiest option. Kale Chips

To help keep our energy levels up and our minds focused, greens are the best food source to incorporate into our lives.

For the busy woman on the go, here is a delicious and easy snack for you!

Simple Delish Recipe: Kale Chips

All you need:
1 bunch of kale
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt (optional) or a spice of your choice like garlic or
parmesan

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Remove kale from stalk leaving green in large pieces
  3. Place a little bit of olive oil in a bowl with a dash of salt or your spice, dip your fingers in, and rub a very light coat of olive oil on the kale
  4. Put the kale on a baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes until it starts to brown
  5. Turn kale over and bake on the other side for 5 minutes.
  6. Remove from the baking sheet, place into a bowl and Enjoy!

Quick Tip: Best eaten within 24 hours, stored in a paper bag.
