Success Inhibiting Syndromes that Affect Women Entrepreneurs Part Three

This is the third and final part of this article series designed to help you identify syndromes of dysfunction that may have gone undetected. These conditions can cause serious problems in your business if untreated.3 Ways to Read Your Customers Mind

Review these syndromes. Awareness is the first step to addressing what ailing you and your business. Follow the recommended treatment to support you in having the most successful business possible.

Over-Networking Syndrome
Key Indicators: When you love to go out and network and connect with others and you do not evaluate the return on your time and money investment. When networking is your exclusive marketing strategy. You are out of your office more than twice a week on a regular basis to attend networking or organization meetings.

Recommended Treatment: Create a comprehensive marketing plan of which networking is only a small. Limit yourself to involvement in no more than three groups. Limit your participation to once a month. Do not take on extensive volunteer or leadership roles unless your business is highly profitable and you have support in place.

If I Can’t Be Nice, I Will Not Say Anything Syndrome
Key Indicators: You avoid difficult conversations and confrontation because you do not want to make others or yourself uncomfortable. You worry about what others will think more than what is the best thing for you and your business.

Recommended Treatment: Know that in business it is often necessary to have direct conversations and make difficult decisions for the good and preservation of your business. Act accordingly with this knowledge.

Over-Training Syndrome
Key Indicators: You feel that you need to learn so much more to be successful. You are consistently in training more than two days a month. You attend tele-calls, webinars or conference training calls several times a week. Your training is interfering with getting your work done and generating revenue.

Recommended Treatment: Limit your training days out of the office to two days a month with an occasional exception. Do not be in more than one training program at a time. Take full advantage to all the training you are doing to ensure maximum benefit for you and your business.

Making Lots of Money Makes Me Feel Guilty Syndrome
Key Indicators: When you resist conversations and negotiations about money. When you are fine with making a living, but feel guilty about building wealth. You sort of believe that wealthy people don’t have integrity.

Recommended Treatment: Know that it takes money to make money. The more you earn, the more people you can serve, and the more ease you can add to your life. Also, realize that wealth allows you to decide who you want to contribute to. You can uplift the lives of others with your generosity and doing well will allow you to do a ton of good.

By becoming aware of any of these syndromes that have previously gone undetected and beginning treatment you will see an improvement of the overall condition of your business.
