How and why did you start your business?
I started my business as an expert in appointment setting in the B2B financial services industry by working in the industry for several years and leveraging my connections to get my business off the ground. I started my company to allow me more flexibility and time with my family and to give more women out there a chance to work from home in a fast-growing lucrative industry.
What has been your biggest challenge and how did you overcome it?
Growing pains have been my biggest challenge. As I grow I continue to search for ways to maximize my time with virtual assistants and technology.
How do you define SUCCESS?
Success is achieving the goals you set for yourself. They could be big goals or little goals, but when you set goals and work to achieve them … that is SUCCESS!
If there was one thing you wish you knew before you began, what would that be?
I wish I knew how to ask for help! I am so independent and often think I can do everything myself but I can’t. It’s taken me a long time to realize that in order for my company to continue growing – I can’t keep doing everything on my own!
What makes you an innovative woman?
I took something that I knew how to do well and turned it into a business where I positioned myself as an expert in a very niche market. I now train others to do what I do and make a an excellent income selling our services. I still have a lot to learn and a lot more I want to achieve. The more I learn the better my company becomes!
