Magic happens in a moment. We are living our normal existence and then in a moment, we’re transported to a wonderland.
Einstein is quoted as saying that there are two ways to live. One way is as if nothing is a miracle. The other of course is that everything is a miracle. Here is what I believe. I believe that everything is a miracle that we allow to be a miracle. What makes that happen? Our gratitude for all of the things that come across our horizon. Our ability to be in that moment and to celebrate what is there.
At this time of year we talk about being grateful. It is the season. We celebrate all of the gifts given to us. Family, friends, all of our blessings. And we do that amid feasts and traditions that are both unique and universal.
What I hope for all of us during this season is that we also pause for the moment, to stop. And savor our moments. The magic. The miracle. The warmth and compassion of those we love and that love us back. The sights, smells, voices and touches of love. Our miracle moments.
Life truly is a miracle. It comes back to how we choose to see it.
Live (see) today like you want tomorrow to be. Live (see) well.
