A Holiday Treat

Raw Chocolate Macaroon RecipeI was back home in New Hampshire for Thanksgiving. It was such a treat to be home sitting in my mom’s kitchen. There are not a lot of things more comforting than sitting at the table and chatting with relatives. It’s funny we never make it to the dining room or the family room, we just crowd around this small table.

Since I live so far away, I wanted to share my love of health and chocolate with my family and friends. I have the best recipe for you if you are looking for an easy and sweet treat to bring to holiday gatherings or have as dessert after your holiday meal.

These raw chocolate macaroons are super rich so they satisfy your chocolate craving with just a few bites. Real chocolate, cacao has no sugar in it and contains fiber, iron, magnesium, chromium, manganese, copper and Vitamin C. It also has the highest concentration of antioxidants of any food in the world, which is great for anti-aging. Cacao also increases our moods and desire (hence why it is called the love drug) and decreases our stress levels. Perfect for the holidays!
